Floramotion is a full service fresh cut flower forwarder handling product from around the world to flower wholesalers of the New York and Tri-state area. We offer a variety of services to help you with your shipping and delivery needs. Floramotion specializes in flowers but we also transport fruits, vegetables and other perishable goods.
The following are the services we offer:
- Operating every night of the week.
- Three daily air consolidations Monday – Saturday from the major growing areas of California – Oxnard/Carpinteria, San Diego and Watsonville/Salinas
- Delivery of foreign product from customs brokerage companies
- Direct pick ups and deliveries from foreign and domestic air carriers
- Outbound shipments to small cities departing from LaGuardia and JFK Airports
Our California Consolidations
Our consolidations are a very important part of the business. Working with 2 trucking companies in California, they handle farm pick ups and drop offs at San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles. We deal exclusively with Jet Blue for our California consolidations. Jet Blue gives us prebooked space, enabling us to fly Calfornia product out each night. Our consolidations give you the ability to order early in the morning and receive your product for the following morning sales.
Our Northern California consolidation is handled by In Motion Transportation of San Jose, Ca.. They pick up daily at the flower farms of Watsonville, Salinas and the surrounding areas and consolidate the product at Jet Blue in San Francisco.
Our South Central and Southern California consolidations is handled by K's Refrigerated Transport of Vista, Ca. They pick up daily at the flower farms of Oxnard, Carpinteria, and the San Diego areas of California. Product gets consolidated in LAX and sent to us via Jet Blue to JFK.
